As part of Deaf Services National Week of Deaf People celebrations, Hear For Kids held their first ever 'Sports Day' on October 24 2017. Held at the Taigum ECDP,  the event was hosted by Deaf Sports and Recreation Queensland (DSRQ) and focused on team building activities for the kids. 

Children and parents alike had the opportunity to hear from Deaflympian and DSRQ representative Jamie Howell, who discussed takeaways and learnings from her time competing for Australia.
